Cassock Repair by Watts & Co.

We offer a very special service that allows our customers to return their Watts cassock at any time to be repaired or altered.

STEP 1: Choose a service from the options below

Contact us via phone or email with as much information as possible about your cassock, with photos where relevant. A colleague will then be able to provide an estimate of the costs – but please note that this is subject to change upon inspection of the cassock.

  • CASSOCK ALTERATIONS

    Body sizes change all the time, so it might not be a surprise that your cassock does not fit like it once did. With our alterations, we will aim to tailor your cassock for the perfect fit.

  • CASSOCK REPAIRS

    While our cassocks are made to the highest quality, accidental rips or tears may appear over the years. Simply bring in your cassock for inspection and we'll restore your cassock to as good as new.

STEP 2: Prepare your cassock and send it to our workroom

You will receive instructions via email on how to return your cassock for repair or alteration. Please include a copy of the email with the garment. Before forwarding your cassock, please ensure all pockets are emptied and any harmful substances removed.

All cassocks must be dry-cleaned before they are worked on. We recommend that you organise this yourself; please send the cassock in the plastic covering provided by the dry-cleaners, or otherwise provide a receipt as proof. We will charge a dry-cleaning fee at £60 (ex-VAT) for any unclean cassocks.

STEP 3: We will mend your cassock

Once we have confirmed receipt of your cassock, we will aim to complete your repairs or alterations within 21 days. You will then be notified when this is complete before the cassock is returned to you.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

In most cases, we can successfully repair any cassock made by us. However, some items are simply beyond repair because they are too damaged. If this applies to your cassock, our customer service team will contact you and return your cassock.
